Terms of Service

HackrBio (“HackrBio”, “we”, “us”) is a hosted service that lets you build and publish a personal web page. It is operated by an individual. You can reach us at ubergeekady@gmail.com.

You sign in with your X (Twitter) account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything published from your HackrBio account. You must be at least 16 years old. One person or organisation, one account.

HackrBio costs $35 USD per year. When you sign up you provide a payment method and begin a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the $35 annual fee is charged automatically and your subscription renews yearly until you cancel.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store your card details.

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling during the trial takes your page offline immediately and schedules your data for deletion; you are not charged. Cancelling after you have been charged stops the next renewal — see the Refund Policy for refunds.

You keep all rights to everything you upload or publish. You grant us only the permission needed to host, display and back up your content so the service can function. We do not sell your content or use it to train models.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you publish, including images, text and anything you embed.

You may not use HackrBio to publish or distribute:

Illegal content; malware or phishing; content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property; harassment or content targeting a private individual; sexual content involving minors; content impersonating another person or organisation; or spam and deceptive commercial schemes.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, without refund where the breach is serious.

If you connect a custom domain, you confirm you control it. You remain responsible for renewing and configuring the domain with your registrar.

We aim to keep HackrBio online and fast, but the service is provided “as is” without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 60 days’ notice and let you export your data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to HackrBio is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost audience.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use HackrBio after that means you accept the updated terms.
